A posteriori reasoning is about as useful as a posteriori probability determination.

For example, go out to an interstate highway and take a picture of the first licence plate you see going by. Then ask : What is the probability that your unique self and that particular licence plate would simultaneously be connected at that unique and specific instant. Queue eerie music? Fall down in awe at the synchronicity of the cosmos? Perhaps it would be better to learn about the dangers of a posteriori reasoning and speculating.

Some would argue that the cosmos is fine tuned to create us, or at least make life possible. However, if you put the horse before the cart, it is less far-fetched that we evolved to fit the cosmos, rather than the other way around.

Everything looks fine-tuned with a posteriori reasoning and a healthy dose of credulity.
