AI Capabilities Will Evolve

Just as the brains of biological organisms did, only much faster.

Judea Pearl’s argument that AI needs starting conceptual models to work from is probably a major key to progress in AI’s theoretical capabilities. Einstein was taught Maxwell’s equations and Newtonian physics. He also was well aware of their incompatibility, and he figured out which assumptions were wrong in the latter. In effect, he used a deep-learning neural net with about 65 billion neurodes connected in a highly appropriate way.
