An Exception To The Rule

Say some country made a limited conventional attack on North Korea, and then that led to full conventional war between the warring parties. This could lead to the use of nuclear weapons and might draw in other countries.

If enough nuclear weapons were used, the nuclear winter scenario would probably result and a mass extinction would be highly likely.

I don’t think we could consider this a “random event”.

The term “all” is an absolute. Nature abhors absolutes.
