BREXIT WREXIT

  1. The whole idea of a Brexit referendum was a bone-headed miscalculation in the first place.
  2. Few voters had any understanding of the the real world consequences of leaving the EU.
  3. If the voters had been given a proper tutorial on those actual consequences, I believe the Remain side would have won the referendum.
  4. It’s seriously late, but that tutorial has now been delivered.
  5. Given the unfolding disaster in Britain, and beyond, there is only one sensible path forward: admit human failings, keep a stiff upper lip, and nullify the 1st Referendum (or conduct a 2nd Referendum, if you must do so politically).
  6. Show some courage. Disappoint your enemies, who are hiding in the shadows and rooting for your failure.
