Brief Fact Check!

  1. “…some poor dude in Wuhan ate a bat and a few months later the entire world was in lockdown”

For integrity’s sake get your facts straight. The most likely scenario is that a bat bit a pig, or some other intermediate animal like a pangolin, and then the dude eat the pig. There are various scientifically sound scenarios for how this novel coronavirus came into being, but yours sounds like a Trumpy alternative facts version and is laughably wrong.

2. “Only the strong survive, says capitalism — the weak should justly perish. But who wants to go on believing they are weak?”

This is becoming very irritating, especially from one who has studied economics. You perpetually talk about capitalism as if there is only one form: the Ayn Rand, social Darwinism, predatory capitalism of libertarian freaks like Robert Mercer, Charles Koch and the late James Buchanan. This is an outright, and clearly misdirecting, lie.

You might want to see form of capitalism that works for the people. Here you go chief.

If you want to do some good in this world, then instead of relentlessly bashing America and capitalism with your hackneyed doom and gloom, not too mention the straw man portrayals, why not concentrate on what specifically can be done to make the world a better place? Afraid you won’t get as many clicks? S%*t sells better than concrete plans for the future?
