Many thanks for your card! It gave me renewed hope that my long struggle will not have been in vain. Every day I also give thanks for the opportunity to do the work you mention.

The thread of that dream goes all the way back to Lao Tse and Democritus. It was then was shared by Kant, Spinoza, Fournier d’Albe and many others right up to the present. The scientific community has always kept the idea of an infinite self-similar cosmos at arms length. However, as our observational knowledge of nature increases, I think others will begin to see what the dreamers have seen for millennia.
