“Diet Fascists”?

Weird comment.

Here is my last response, since nobody is benefiting from our discussion.

My choice for the Democratic candidate in the 2016 election was Bernie Sanders. I talked him up as much as I could and I made more donations to his campaign than was prudent, given my budget.

I was horrified at the behavior (close-mindedness and fixed ideas) of the DNC, as well as the media (NYT!!) that enabled their full speed ahead rush into disaster. Bernie was the right candidate for 2016, given the mood of the country. What a shame that the DNC side-lined him.

I would like to see Americans take back their democracy and show that the Great American Experiment started by the founding fathers will not founder on the rocks of populist quasi-fascism. This is a delicate moment in our history and woe to us if we blow the next election.
