Fast Radio Bursts Get Weirder Still

Just out in Science magazine is a report of a new fast radio burst localized in a large and very distant galaxy. This is the 2nd FRB that has been localized, and the 1st was found in a small star-forming galaxy. The latter led to theories and models (magnetars) that are now called into serious question by the newer results. Science rarely profits from single data-point theories, if you get my drift.
