Fuel cells, solar and wind are already in the commercial markets and the costs keep coming down.

Producing hydrogen and using it as a relatively clean fuel has proven potential.

Fusion, as a practical energy source, has always been “just over the next hill”. So far it has been like throwing billions into a black hole.
