Human Input Still Needed

Humans will continue to play an important role in the search for fundamental knowledge, which has barely been tapped.

We can direct the prodigious potential power of AI to investigate specific mysteries and enigmas in the physical and biological sciences.

What I would like to see is this. Humans feed an advanced AI pattern recognition system with a vast amount of high quality physics/astrophysics data. No theoretical hints (i.e., biases) allowed. Then the AI is told to come up with the most unified and elegant cosmological paradigm.

Some day this may be possible. And clearly we need the help.
