Is 'Save My Status" really integrity?

Those who have read T.S. Kuhn's Structure of Scientific Revolutions, and/or those who have followed the decades-long debacle of String Theory and the WIMPs obsession, and/or those who know how General Relativity was generally viewed by many as wrong-headed and a disgrace to science during its development, would regard the thesis of this piece with true scientific skepticism.

Recoil from new ideas is a standard human response, even by scientists. This is often carried on long after supporting evidence is available. Likewise, the refusal to adequately acknowledge the failings of fashionable paradigms and theories is the norm.
