It is an incredibly exciting time to be alive.

At least for scientists, and overlooking the gloom of chaos that is descending on the world politically.

We are indeed on the verge of remarkable new observational discoveries, made possible mainly by scientists who work in experimental areas. I think we are close to identifying the dark matter, and getting ready to recognize that the simplistic version of the Big Bang paradigm, with its ab nihilo creationism, belies the true grandeur of the cosmos.

These discoveries will reveal a cosmos that is far different from what we have assumed. Same as it ever was in science.

I say: “bring it on!” And hold the epicycle “fixes”. We are long overdue for revolutionary progress.
