OOPS, Umair Does It Again!

I mostly agree with Umair that American economics took a nosedive in the Reagan era and has become increasingly sub-optimum ever since. Robert Reich has some excellent documentaries on this descent, in terms of how, who and why (Netflix).

But Umair lists America’s major recent failing as a covid-19 death rate of 1/1000 citizens. The trouble is that the UK’s record is slightly worse: 1/945 according to my calculations.

Someday I would like to hear Umair candidly explain why he reserves his tongue-lashing almost exclusively for the USA when other bad actors get a free pass.
