Perdue Pharma and McKinsey & Co.- Time for the Hammer of Justice?

The CDC reports that from 1999 to 2018 overdose deaths caused by prescription opioids numbered at least 232,000.

When certain organizations are knowingly responsible for a significant percent of so many deaths, are they not drug dealers and co-conspirators who are involved in murder?

Will we ever hold these huge, rich and powerful organizations (and others in various economic domains) to account for the damage they do to individuals and the country? Huge fines are appropriate, but some serious jail time might actually be a much more powerful deterrent. It would also help to restore some faith in our justice system.

If America stands for equal justice under the law, why are white collar criminals given financial slaps on the wrist, while the hammer of justice comes down hard on those guilty of far lesser crimes?
