Straw Man Arguments

1. The decades-old Steady State theory of Hoyle et al is not the only version of a cosmological paradigm that scientifically challenges the naive Big Bang theory.
2. All of the evidence you cite in favor of the naive Big Bang theory can be absorbed and superseded by an infinite/eternal paradigm in which the the “bang” is a Little Bang in an Infinite/Eternal paradigm. Such models are proposed by Harvard’s Loeb, Princeton’s Steinhardt, and many others who advance Big Bounce and Infinite Fractal models.

Sometimes simplifying the message for the general audience can lead to misinformation, especially when combined with absolute claims, or implications, like the one here that infinite/eternal models have been relegated to the dustbin of history. It ain’t so!
