The failing autocrats ignore science, or keep it at arms length. Power and money come way before health and integrity in their dark and selfish thinking. They ignore reality's inconvenient truths at our peril.

America has had successful leaders in the past (FDR leading the country out of the dust bowl catastrophe, the Great Depression and the Nazi threat). Maybe someday soon American citizens will choose such leaders again by using their brains instead of their poop-filled guts.
