The Ultimate Strange Loop!

Douglas Hofstader proposes the idea of a strange loop in which one jumps between levels in a hierarchy but appears to find oneself in the same place before the jump.

The ultimate strange loop (and recursive physics), may occur in a discrete self-similar (discrete fractal) cosmological paradigm. If one could jump from one discrete fundamental Scale of this cosmos to any other, you would think there had been no jump because the world and physical laws appear unchanged.
