Why Are We So Anthropocentric?

Just because we, as biological organisms, have limited lifetimes with birth and inevitable death, that does not mean the Universe has to.

An infinite self-similar cosmos is eternal: same physics on all Cosmological Scales and eternal recycling in a manner similar to the way that interstellar gas can collapse into a star, which evolves and explodes in a supernova, which enriches the interstellar medium, which can once again form a new star. This recycling of mass/energy happens on each of an infinite number of discrete space-time Scales (..,. Subquantum, Atomic, Stellar, Galactic, Metagalactic, …).

Here is a new way to radically rethink the cosmos and our place in it:
