You argue like Rush Limbaugh!

You can rate the objectivity of a speaker by the number of absolutes (always, only, never, every, no one, etc.), by the number of misleading arguments, and by the number of outright lies (things contrary to known facts).

Here is just one example from Umair's posting:

"America is the only nation left on earth whose thinking class, by and large, still believes in these disproven myths — and in that respect, it is a mirror image now of the Soviet Union."

An absolute ("only"), a highly misleading false-equivalence between the USA and Russia, and and an egregious lie (the thinking classes in the USA do NOT believe in what you say they do). The majority reject far-right thought and deed, as will be shown in about 2 weeks. It is a MINORITY of the 1% (like Charles Koch, his loyalist 1% buddies, and their lobbyist/politician gnomes) who have been attacking American democracy for decades, through gerrymandering, voter suppression, bribing/threatening politicians, getting far-right judges appointed to key positions, etc..

I agree that "originalism" is often associated with a bone-headed and politically-biased view of the law and justice. However, the liberal side of things does not need Limbaugh-style tactics to present or defend their views.
